Which processor to choose i5 480M or i3 380M?

I've shortlisted two dell lap's one wit a i3 and another wit i5.But the price difference is 2k INR for the same specs.Pls help me to choose which one.As a final yr student I'll be using it for mechanical Designing,modeling etc..not concerned wit gaming but will also watch many HD movies and internet.
